Welcome to the reveal for the Bead Peeps Swap N Hop 2017!
My partner this year is also our Hostess, Linda Anderson of Cherry on Top Designs, click here to visit Linda's Blog. This year there was also an optional twist where you made yourself the same kit of beads you sent out to your partner. It was a fun adventure digging through my stash. In chatting with Linda, I realized my 2 favorite colors, teal and purple, were colors I rarely worked with. We ended up sending each other similar beads and colors too!
These are the beads that I sent to Linda
I was surprised that I had enough beads to make 2 sets!
And these are the beads and goodies that Linda sent to me
Orange, my nemesis! But the fox pendant from SummerWind Art just sang to me. But what on earth goes with orange?? I had the perfect white, teal, and orange polymer clay beads from Humblebeads!
Earrings to match
And on to the Lampwork beads! Digging through my stash, I found some Kim Snider lampwork butterfly wings that had similar colors. Heather of Humblebeads had a fantastic idea on how to use the wings on one of her Bead Table Wednesday videos, I had to try it.
Matching earrings
I also have been wanting to try a bracelet design I found in Jewelry Affaire Magazine, the designer's name was Melinda Barnett. I am so in love with how jingly this is...I need to make more!
I made super cute pair of earrings with the lampwork Birdies, I learned how to make the little wire nests from Heather Powers (her video tutorials are the bee's knees.)
Here is a simple summer necklace using the pretty lilac cording...my first ever attempt at an adjustable knot clasp.
For this necklace, I broke out one of my precious Anne Choi beads, a lampwork birdie from Nikki Thornburg and a pewter feather pendant from Green Girl Studios...and did something I never do because it just hurts my hands too much - I made a wire-wrapped bead link chain. The saying on the Anne Choi bead is "Paint the flying spirit of the bird."

Another bracelet
One unfinished necklace :(
And the whole group of finished pieces
Be sure to stop by the other Bead Peep's blogs to see what wonders were created with swap beads!

There are several varieties of diamond chain that are available in the market today. A combination of the colors and cuts of diamonds can be very attractive.
