BSBP Bead Hoarders Edition- Reveal

Hi and welcome to the Bead Soup Blog Party Bead Hoarders Edition- Reveal, hosted by the wonderful Lori Anderson.
I had 3 partners this year, it was so much fun chatting with all of them and getting to know them. They sent me the most awesome hoarded beads!

My first Partner is Kathleen Breeding of 99 Bottles of Beads on the Wall

Here is what I sent to Kathleen:

I patined the Vintaj Brass peacock piece and added a vintage cabochon and holes for dangles at the bottom. This design is roughly based on a Art Nouveau Sautoir






My second Partner is Terry Carter of TappingFlamingoBling

I have had the lapis zuni bear bead in my stash since 1998, he was a gift from my Sister and I never found the right project for him until Terry's handmade button arrived. I turned the button into a clasp.




























My third Partner is Brenda Ballou

I reformed the copper pendant into a cuff adding holes on either side for beads. I also patined the copper and added a touch of color to the Robin's breast.

    I really love how you made the materials your own like adding patina and turning the copper pendant into a cuff. It's beautiful!

    Wow, you have been busy. Love all your pieces but really love how you added the color to the Robin pendant and reformed it into a cuff. Awesome.

    This looks like so much fun. I almost wish I had multiple partners, but that is a lot of pressure which you handled well. That first necklace is gorgeous. I really like how you keep with the style your second partner pointed you towards, and created a really striking bracelet. The modifications of the final pendant into a bracelet cuff is genius. I hope you do something with that super cute cat bead too.

    Hi Christina, I really like what you did with the beads from Kathleen. She was my partner last time. I made earrings from the peacock feather beads. Good job using your bear bead with the button for a clasp. Kudos to you for changing the copper focal and making it work for what you wanted. Wonderful job designing for three partners.

    Wow! I'm so super impressed that you had three partners--and that you made such gorgeous things with each set of beads! I honestly don't think I can pick a favorite (maybe the peacock necklace, but just baaaarely). Amazing, amazing work! :)

    Wow, Christina you took what hoards you received to another level. Especially by adding more of your hoarded items. You really took the time to let the swaps speak to you. I love the first necklace you posted from what I sent. As well as the patina copper piece you worked on. You sure rocked this challenge.

    Good heavens, you were busy! Three partners to send beads to and receive beads from AND having to post at least three pieces, you're a super star. And what a great job you did with everything. While the set of earrings, bracelet and gorgeous necklace might be my favorite, I really like what you did with the copper robin pendant as well. I'm duly impressed! As an aside, the photo in your banner is a beautiful rendition of a beautiful bird.
