And to start off the new year....
I finally finished one of my Laura Mears owls! I am calling this little guy Orion. I have never, ever, ever ripped out and restarted a piece before as much as this one. He did not like any of my beads or ideas! Then I found a fantastic deal on Esty for 2 faceted labradorites and then things finally came together.
Here he is with the chain:
I added a hand painted (by me) Vintaj arte metal feather and a swarovski bead to the back to make it easier for me to find the clasp.
On Christmas break, I stayed home and watched a mini movie marathon. I came up with these after watching the Hunger Games (can't wait for the next movie this fall!!)
I painted the arrows...gosh I love painting metal!
