There was no Weekend of beads last week. Solstice/Christmas presents needed wrapping :(
So since that is out of the way and I am still in a holiday mood I made something festive today :
And it appears that Mother Nature is in the holiday mood as well, giving me about 5 minutes of full daylight so I could take a somewhat decent picture for once.
I have recieved my gift for the Secret Santa exchange...it still remains unopened. (I am determined to open in on either Solistice or Christmas...depends on how busy next week is. Looks like the exchange worked well for everyone...there is a group of people out there stalking there mailpeople. Teehee.
Well, Happy Holidays folks!

This Weekend in Beads
Well I promised more beads so...
I decided to start organizing and here is what happened when a baggie of labradorites got left out:
My cell phone aka camera really can't pick up the sparkle of the rhinestones and labradorites. That, and it's dark here at 4:00 so by the time I was ready to take a picture I had the lighing of a cave. I love the locket though...I used a little $ from my holiday bonus (thanks boss!) to purchase this little victorian fob locket.
My mini-giveaway was a success and the leftover kits all have new homes!
I am wondering what I should do with all of my leftover, what is this, the-only-one-like-it, why on earth did I buy these, where did these come from, what was I thinking beads? I have an old metal cookie tin full to the brim of whatsits and odds and ends. I can trade everything off a bit at a time, trade everything off at once or give the whole thing away (im keeping the tin though.)
Any thoughts?

This Weekend in Beads...inspired by the ordinary
My boyfriend has this fab picture of downtown Seattle that he took a few years ago. It's even the screen saver on our computer.
Now it's a necklace too
The picture is bad...it's so darn DARK in my apartment, even with all the lights on and the blinds open. This necklace is made with 90% vintage beads...the only new beads are some erinite swarks.
That's it for now. Had to order more wire...and some wrist cozies. Gotta keep my hands warm :)
