For this Challenge I was truly stumped. What on earth could I make with blue and yellow beads?
I happened to be digging through the many layers of my stash in an effort to destash some of it (where did all these beads come from???) and I found some kits that I purchased years ago from French General. I had bought a necklace and bracelet kit in colors inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night....and never made anything with them.
So I guess this should be better titled "Oh my goodness I am actually using beads from my Hoard."
Paint the Stars: Yellow lampwork glass - Sabine Dittrich, Polymer clay rondelles - Humblebeads, Paint the Stars bead - Swoondimples, Owl pendant - Andrew Thorton
Starry Night set
Vintage glass beads and cabochons - French General
I hope you enjoyed my foray into bright happy colors :)
What a great use of your Paint the Stars bead. It is set off to perfection with the other beads from the kit. And I am always in love with embellished chain. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I love the your two strand necklace the best.
ReplyDeleteI love your foray into happy bright colors. What wonderful pieces! I love the charm nature of several of the pieces. I loved that beads you used as dangles in the earrings - great use of them. It's hard to say; my favorite pieces might be the first necklace. But I could change my mind at any moment! They are all great.
ReplyDeleteI just love your charm bracelet. It is a wonderful piece. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThose are happy designs! They put quite the smile on my face even though I am stuck at work.
